Maintaining proper alignment is an important part of keeping your vehicle running properly as it affects the wear of your tires, handling and even the comfort of you and your passengers. Accidents, hitting obstacles and buying new tires can affect alignment. Here's what happens when we perform one at Ed Reilly Subaru.

When one of our technicians works on your alignment, we adjust the angle of the wheels to meet the manufacturer's specifications. Three angles called camber, caster, and toe, are measured and then adjusted to meet the proper degree. If that sounds complicated, it really isn't.

Camber measures the degree of difference in the vehicle's vertical alignment to the road. Caster is the angle of the steering pivot from front to back. Tow is the angle of the tires pointing inward or outward. All three combine to make your vehicle drive in a straight line and keep you safe.
